Assemble Collet
(2) in Holder (1) ensuring Groove at back of Collet engages
with Key in Holder, lightly Screw into (4).
Fit Drill into assembly and tighten very
lightly. |

Adjust material
removal scale to suit Drill diameter.
Insert Holder assembly with Drill into Alignment Guide, rotate
Holder clockwise against stop, press Drill inwards
against depth gauge, rotate Drill clockwise against alignment
stop and tighten (1).
Remove Holder & ensure Drill Center Point is
positioned as pictured.
Lip Relief Angle can be varied by rotating drill slightly. |

Switch on Power.
Gently insert Holder into Sharpening Guide
until the Drill contacts Grinding Wheel, rotate clockwise &
anticlockwise until grinding ceases, rotate 180° & repeat
operation.
Drill is now ready for use. |

To create or
reform a Split-Point. Adjust depth
scale to achieve degree of 'Split' required, gently insert
Holder into Split-Point Guide until the Drill contacts
Grinding Wheel, rotate clockwise & anticlockwise until
grinding ceases, rotate 180° & repeat operation.
Drill is now ready for use. |
