Rugged metal cased Surveillance Camera with Sony CCD Image Sensor
and inbuilt Infrared Illuminator suitable for zero (total Darkness)
to high (Sunlight) illumination levels, this Surveillance Camera has
a motorised IR-CUT Filter that ensures excellent colour rendition
with visible illumination and maximum low-light and Infrared
sensitivity when illumination levels are low or zero.
This Surveillance Camera is ideal for
indoor and sheltered outdoor Surveillance
in domestic and
commercial buildings, it can be easily added to an existing
Surveillance
Recording system (or replace an under performing Camera), simply
connect Video Output from Camera to an unused
Security DVR Video
input.
Connect to the Composite Video Input (AV, Yellow RCA
socket) on a TV, Domestic or commercial Recording Device, if
required a
Microphone can be easily added and a
single small diameter
Cable
used to carry Video, Audio & Power 20 or more m.
High Resolution 437 664 Pixel
CCD
Image Sensor this Surveillance Camera has a Sony Charge Coupled
Device (CCD) Image Sensor with more than 750 horizontal pixels and
significantly higher Sensitivity and higher Signal-to-Noise ratio
than a
CMOS sensor.
To
utilise the full potential of the 437 664 pixel image sensor, this
Surveillance Camera employs a Wide-Bandwidth Hawk Image (Digital)
Signal Processor with 540 + HTVL video output together with a
comprehensive yet easy-to-use On-Screen Setup.
Better than a Dome separate Lens
and LED glass eliminates LED-Lens leak-through that results in
washed-out low-contrast night images, also eliminated are internal
reflections caused by light entering from behind and sides, these
problems cannot be resolved with a conventional one-piece Dome.

System: PAL Colour fully compatible with Australian TV System.
Lens: Variable Focal
Length 2.8 mm ~ 12 mm Automatic Iris with external focal length &
focus adjusters. This Lens will cope with High levels of
illumination, pass more light and provide a greater depth-of-field
than a fixed Iris Lens, corrected
for major Visible-Infrared focus shift, there may be
a slight shift that requires a
compromise or choice between crisp colour or crisp monochrome. There
are no Accessory Lenses for this Security Camera.

provided for comparative purposes only), 0 lux with LEDs 'ON'.
Infrared Illuminator: 18 Light Emitting Diodes (LED)
~ 850 nm wavelength Infrared, these produce a dull Red visible glow
and switch On/Off depending on illumination
level. Depending on Lens
'focal length' setting LEDs illuminate up to ~ 80% of the
Width-of-Vision at up to ~ 15 m depending on the Infrared reflective
characteristics of subject. Objects closer than ~ 2 m may be
overexposed when illuminated by LEDs.
Movable Infrared Optical Filter:
more
In Day mode (well lit, colour)
mechanism automatically positions IR-CUT
optical filter between Lens and Image Sensor to exclude Infrared
radiation that would otherwise adversely affect colour reproduction,
this ensures colour rendition not possible
with ordinary non-filtered or notch-filter type Day/Night cameras.
In Night mode (low light,
monochrome) mechanism
automatically removes IR-CUT optical filter to allow Infrared
radiation to pass boosting low light and Infrared sensitivity, the
result is significantly better night images using inbuilt
Infrared Illuminator or with Infrared rich
light sources.
Infrared Response without Infrared
filter is ~ 700 to ~ 1100 nm

Automatic Electronic Shutter (AES): 20 milliseconds, low shutter

to control exposure with fixed iris lenses, additional
