Movable Infrared Optical Filter: Switchable On/Off, when 'On' Colour-Killer is activated when IR CUT Filter is removed.
When set to 'On' mechanism automatically positions optical filter between Lens & Image Sensor (Day, well lit) to exclude Infrared radiation that would otherwise adversely affect colour reproduction, this ensures colour rendition not possible with ordinary non-filtered or notch-filter type Day/Night cameras.
When set to 'On' mechanism automatically removes optical filter to allow Infrared radiation to pass in monochrome (Night, low light) boosting low light and Infrared sensitivity, the result is significantly better night images when used with an Infrared Illuminator or Infrared rich light sources. Infrared Response without Infrared filter is ~ 700 to ~ 1100 nm better than a 'notch' filter, additional information here.
When 'On' Switch-Over/Colour-Killer points are: Colour to Monochrome ~ 3 Lux, Monochrome to Colour ~ 7 Lux. Switch-Over includes an ~ 5 second delay to suppress changes due to spurious illumination changes.
Automatic Electronic Shutter (AES): 1/50 to 1/100 000 second, 20 milliseconds (see Frame-Integration below) to 10 microseconds, additional information here.
Frame-Integration Digital Slow Shutter: User configurable via On-Screen Setup - Off - up to 32 X (~ 640 milliseconds).
Automatic Iris (AI) Lens Output: DC Drive, common 4 pin socket.
