This system allows unbalanced 75 ohm Composite
Colour-Video and Line-Level 10 000 ohm Audio signals to be transmitted up to
1200 metres over Flexible, Low-Cost, Small-Diameter Category-5 100 ohm impedance
Unshielded-Twisted-Pair (UTP) Local-Area-Network (LAN) cable (see
8C/CAT5) or common Telephone cable.
TP-TX/RX may save

Normally Category-5 LAN 4-pair Cable is
used to interconnect the Transmitter & Receiver, the pairs carry Video, Audio,
Sensor Contacts and 24 ~ 30 VDC Supply (up to 200 metres) to TX.
Output: 12 VDC regulated for Video Camera, Audio Amplifier & Sensor.
Inputs: Video, Audio, Sensor Contacts, 24 ~ 30 VDC via Cat-5 Pair from
RX (up to 200 metres otherwise 18 ~ 28 VDC from a separate power supply, see
note below **) .
Outputs: Two Composite Video & One Audio.
Input: 24 ~ 30 VDC.
Between TX & RX carry Video, Audio, Sensor contact conductors & DC Power.
When there are limited Pairs available
to interconnect TX and RX, the transmitter may be powered directly and the
Twisted Pair(s) used to carry Video and/or Audio.
** Any spare pair(s) may be paralleled
with RX-to-TX DC Power conductors to extend DC via twisted pair length from
200 metres to 400 metres (2 pairs) or 600 metres (3 pairs).
BALUN-100/75 for < 500 metres, no
power source required.
